Lodging Allowance Certificates Tax Form A
These pads of tear-off forms are for use by Operatives claiming Lodging Allowance under the National Agreement when lodging away from their normal place of residence. Use of these forms will enable payment to be made in accordance with HM Revenue and Customs rules, as set out in Appendix D of the National Agreement. Pad of 50.

Standard Form of Labour-Only Sub-Contract and Guidance Note
The HVCA Standard Form of Labour-Only Sub-Contract was brought into place to deal with the possibility that a party to a self-employed labour-only contract may be construed as an employee under employment law. By implementing and recording the contractual relationship with a labour-only sub-contractor in writing, the risk of misinterpretation (and thus liabilities arising and costs) may be minimised. National Agreement - Working Rules & Conditions
This is the National Agreement of working rules and conditions of employment for Foremen, Apprentices, Installers, Adult Trainees and Mates employed in the heating, ventilating, air conditioning, piping, and domestic engineering industry. The Agreement is made between the Heating and Ventilating Contractors' Association (HVCA) and the operatives' trade union. In line with good practice, employers will wish to consider making copies available to all their relevant employees.
