Many of today's victims worked within our industry, or on premises where asbestos was being used. In the days before asbestos was recognised as a hazard, very little information was given; nor was much training provided. People were exposed to asbestos dust in their daily works, and many suffered because the dangers of asbestos were not fully understood. The Asbestos Safety Guide Poster produced by the HVCA's Joint Safety Committee is intended to help to easily indentify some of the most common uses and locations of asbestos-containing products. 20 posters

Part 6 in the suite of TR20 standards sets the standard of CW pipework in non-domestic buildings. The purpose of the CW pipework system is to efficiently and safely transport chilled water from the chilled water plant to the cooling coils, or terminal cooling units for air conditioning, or comfort cooling in other parts of a building, in a safe and controlled manner.
